Back to the future
Health update: I am getting lower back surgery next week to remove the damaged part of my S1 disk. It is said disk that has been pressing on my sciatic nerve causing me pain, limping and all sorts of reasons to go to the hospital. Good times here in Metaliciousland.
But the neurosurgeon gave me a 90% chance of getting the feeling back in my foot and leg. So it's all good (except the part where I can't bend or pick anything up for 6 weeks-- including my baby). I should be good as new in 3 months.
Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts, hugs, and all other ways you have supported me through this bizarre health crisis.
Here is what my back looks like now:
heh. heh. heh. Okay fine, it's one of my best selling necklaces, The Goddess.
But for now I still have Hope.

Sorry you have to have surgery, but at least the surgeon is pretty sure you're fixable. It will be hard not picking up the little guy for 6 whole week. :( You might want to look into renting a massage table during recovery. I've heard that it's more comfortable than a bed for sleeping face down while you're healing.
So are you going to make a straight necklace w/ circles when you are all better?
I love this necklace and I can see why it's a keeper!!!
Can't wait to see all the goodies you will create when you are feeling better!
Aawww So sorry to hear that you need surgery, but hopefully that will help you to feel better. You should use this time to relax & make more beautiesssss...Hope you feel better soon!
Sending you good thoughts, prayers, hugs and everything else that might help. Can't wait to see what new necklace you come up with when you are feeling better.
I hope all goes well with the surgery and you recover quickly. It must be hard knowing your not allowed to pick your baby up for 6 weeks!
The necklace is gorgeous!
